Prodega Cash and Carry Supermarket

In 2011, Prodega opened in the town of St Blaise a 3,000 sq-meter store featuring transcritical CO₂ refrigeration combined with a heat recovery system that uses the waste heat for adsorption cooling, which in turn increases the cooling capacity of the CO₂ refrigeration system. The system was designed by Frigo-Consulting.
