Ahold-Delhaize using CO2 in Europe and USA

Formed in 2016, with the merger of Ahold and Delhaize, this retail giant owns 21 brands, covering 6,500 stores. At the end of 2016, 13% of its stores used natural refrigerants. It has 638 stores in the EU using CO₂, including 29 in southern Europe and nine stores in the United States.
